Commercial and Contract Manager

Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 + Car allowance
About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled Contract Manager to join our team at Hunter Mason Consulting Ltd. As a Contract Manager, you will be responsible for managing projects from set-up to handover and evaluation, ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Managing projects from set-up to handover and evaluation
- Helping to deliver project estimates and valuations
- Managing and ensuring the team is complying with project specifications
- Tracking and reporting at weekly client update meetings
- Planning resources, including materials, labour, and sub-contractors
- Liaising with the Site Safety Officer to ensure all standards are maintained
- Liaising with the client on KPI development and implementation
- Managing and maintaining all H&S requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Proven project management experience in M&E/Mechanical and Electrical within Commercial / Retail / Educational sectors
- Willingness to travel to sites
- Exceptional written and spoken English skills
- A self-motivated personality
- Attention to detail with a right-first-time attitude
- Organisation and time management skills
- SMSTS
- CSCS
