Marketing Manager Job Description

We are looking for a talented Marketing Manager to promote Hauser & Wirth, our artists and exhibitions, participation in art fairs and Hauser & Wirth Publishers to a global audience of existing and new clients.

Main Responsibilities

  • Plan and manage an effective programme of marketing activity for Hauser & Wirth to achieve business objectives.
  • Collaborate closely with the Senior Director of Marketing (Europe) to define and implement effective marketing strategies.
  • Develop and implement effective marketing campaigns to promote Hauser & Wirth, our artists and exhibitions, participation in art fairs and Hauser & Wirth Publishers.
  • Design and deliver multifaceted campaigns across channels, including advertising, print, digital media, partnerships, content marketing, promotions, social media, online marketing, and CRM.
  • Develop innovative partnerships with art fairs, other brands and organisations for the benefit of Hauser & Wirth, its artists and clients.
  • Monitor effectiveness during campaigns and develop contingency strategies and adjust plans if required.
  • Manage the marketing budget for assigned locations and campaigns following business procedures to monitor expenditure and secure the best value for the allocated resources.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Marketing Manager.
  • Demonstrated experience in the art and cultural sector, including roles within galleries, museums, and auction houses.
  • Proven ability to manage, devise, and implement effective marketing campaigns in a global or complex organization.
  • Experience managing multi-platform marketing budgets with a strong focus on accuracy.
  • High level of visual literacy with a solid understanding of branding principles.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing techniques and strategies (programmatic advertising, content advertising, SEM, SEO, and e-CRM).
