Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled Executive Director/CEO to join our team at the Suffolk Center for Cultural Arts. This individual will play a pivotal role in shaping the organization's future by leading day-to-day operations, developing and executing strategies, and fostering partnerships that advance our mission.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Develop and maintain an effective organizational structure, overseeing performance, exhibitions, classes, events, and partnerships.
  2. Cultivate new business opportunities through strategic space leasing.
  3. Supervise and motivate a diverse team of employees, promoting excellence in all areas of operation.
  4. Engage with the community, media, and arts professionals to promote the organization and build relationships.
Key Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of senior-level experience in arts management or a related field.
  • Proven ability to set and achieve organizational goals, drive innovation, and foster collaboration.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of the visual and performing arts industries, with a strong understanding of their challenges and opportunities.
Salary Range

The salary for this role is expected to be in the range of $95,000 to $110,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
