Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team at HC-One. As a Senior Care Assistant, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.

About the Role

This is a full-time position working on a bank basis, with varying shifts and hours. You will work closely with our registered nurses and care managers to provide personalized care plans and implement activities that promote social interaction and mental stimulation.

As a Senior Care Assistant, you will maintain accurate records of your work, build strong relationships with colleagues and residents, and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our residents and their families.

Requirements

We are looking for an individual who:

  • Has completed a Level 2 Diploma S/NVQ in Adult Care or equivalent
  • Is willing to work towards a Level 3 qualification in Adult Care
  • Has experience in person-centered care planning and knowledge of caring for people with dementia
  • Can recognize signs of abuse, harm, or neglect and know how to respond
