Residential Care Home Housekeeping Lead

As a seasoned leader in housekeeping, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene in our residential care homes. Job DescriptionThis is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires a strong ability to work collaboratively with others, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will be expected to manage the cleaning rota, lead by example, and ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Responsibilities:
- Ensure that all areas of the care home are kept clean and tidy at all times
- Manage the cleaning rota, including scheduling and task allocation
- Lead by example, demonstrating a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve common goals and objectives
- Communicate effectively with colleagues, residents, and visitors
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a similar role or related field
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
- Awareness of Health & Safety and COSHH regulations, as well as infection control procedures
We offer a competitive salary of £30,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits, including:
