About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join our team at The St Leonards Academy. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in supporting the development and achievement of our students with special educational needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Exclusion Prevention: Work with students with special educational needs to prevent exclusions and promote positive behavior.
  • Attendance Support: Support students with special educational needs to improve their attendance and safeguarding.
Requirements
  • Patience, calmness, and enthusiasm in working with students.
  • Confidence in running engaging and educational activities.
  • Ability to build and encourage confidence in students.
