Primary School Teaching Assistant

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Primary School Teaching Assistant to join our team in a primary school setting. As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the lead teacher and other support staff to provide targeted support to students with Autism.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the lead teacher and other staff members to develop and implement effective strategies for supporting students with Autism.
- Deliver one-to-one and small group interventions to help students achieve their individual developmental targets.
- Contribute to the planning and preparation of engaging resources and activities for students.
- Occasionally lead whole-class sessions when requested by the lead teacher.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A HLTA qualification.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience working with children with Autism or similar special educational needs.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
