About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Activities Coordinator to join our team at The Manor House Roundhay, a brand new 65-bed care home set to open in October 2024. As an Activities Coordinator, you will play a vital role in supporting our residents to continue doing the things they enjoy, promoting independence and choice, and enhancing their lifestyle, health, and sense of wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and facilitate stimulating activities, promoting independence and choice to meet customer needs.
  • Control and maintain the stock of activities equipment, materials, and resources within a given budget.
  • Comply with CQC essential standards and improve the quality of customer's lives.
Requirements
  • Creative flair with a range of practical skills, e.g., arts & crafts.
  • Ability to motivate and engage people with good negotiation skills.
  • Ability to plan a calendar of activities.
  • Able to create an environment where customers feel able to participate and contribute ideas.
  • Able to work as part of a team and individually.
  • Basic PC skills.
