Job Title: Activities Coordinator

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Activities Coordinator to join our team at The Manor House Roundhay, a brand new 65-bed care home in Leeds.

About the Role:

As an Activities Coordinator, you will play a vital role in supporting our residents to continue doing the things they enjoy. You will work collaboratively with residents to plan and deliver a range of activities, both within the home and in the local community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and facilitate stimulating activities that promote independence and choice for our residents.
  • Manage and maintain the stock of activities equipment, materials, and resources within a given budget.
  • Ensure compliance with CQC essential standards and improve the quality of life for our residents.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience of organizing activities within a care setting is desirable.
  • Understanding of the types of activities that older people enjoy.
  • Knowledge of health and safety in the workplace.
