Position Overview

The Fire Safety Engineering Manager plays a crucial role in supervising the creation of fire safety solutions and ensuring the quality of existing fire detection systems. Key duties encompass evaluating building control inquiries, delivering customer assistance, training sales personnel, and crafting business engagement initiatives. This role also focuses on enhancing product quality through collaboration with various departments and external partners.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Innovating and developing new fire detection devices and related components
  • Addressing challenges and managing engineering modification processes
  • Assisting the product team to guarantee safety and quality standards
  • Recognizing ongoing enhancements in product offerings
  • Providing training and support to bridge knowledge gaps
  • Delivering on-site customer assistance and Continuing Professional Development (CPD) training

Qualifications:

  • Background in the residential fire sector
  • Degree in Design Engineering or related field
  • Familiarity with fire safety regulations
  • Experience in the production of fire detection devices
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities
  • Ability to work autonomously and communicate effectively
  • Meticulous attention to detail and capacity to manage multiple tasks
  • Technical experience in the fire safety industry
  • Self-driven with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in presenting to large audiences
  • Skilled in simplifying complex concepts
