At Marie Curie, we are committed to providing the highest quality of care and support to patients and their families. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our community-based team in Richmond/North Yorkshire Dales.

The successful candidate will have experience of end of life care and be able to provide emotional support to patients and their families. They will be required to carry out a range of care duties, including helping patients meet their hygiene needs, monitoring symptoms, assisting with medications, and keeping detailed records.

We are looking for someone who is able to work independently, with minimal supervision, and who is able to use their own initiative in line with the patient's established care plan. The ideal candidate will have a S/NVQ Level 2/3 qualification or an equivalent certificate/diploma, and will be a UK licensed driver with access to a car and business insurance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide emotional support to patients and their families
