Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse Specialist to lead our Anticoagulation Service at University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust. As a Band 8a Clinical Service Lead, you will be responsible for managing and developing the service, ensuring excellent care and patient outcomes.

Main Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the Anticoagulation Service team, ensuring high-quality patient care and service delivery.
  • Develop and implement service improvement initiatives, enhancing patient experience and outcomes.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care pathways and effective communication.
  • Provide clinical expertise and guidance to staff, promoting best practice and evidence-based care.
  • Contribute to the development of organisational policy and procedure, ensuring alignment with NHS standards and guidelines.

Person Specification
  • Registered Adult/Child Nurse on the NMC Register.
