Key Responsibilities:
- Provide targeted support to students with ADHD, aiding them in managing their behaviour and focusing on their learning.
- Implement innovative strategies to support students' academic, social, and emotional development.
- Collaborate with teachers and SEN coordinators to develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
- Monitor and record student progress, offering feedback to inform future support strategies.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages engagement and learning.
Requirements:
- Must have strong SEN experience.
- Candidates must have a valid DBS certificate on the update service.
- Previous experience working with children with ADHD, preferably in an educational setting.
- Strong understanding of ADHD and effective behaviour management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to build positive relationships with students.
- Relevant qualifications or training in special educational needs or behaviour management are desirable.
