About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team at Newby and Scalby Primary School. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students in their learning journey, working closely with teachers and other support staff to ensure the best possible outcomes for our pupils.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support students in their learning, both individually and in small groups, under the direction of the class teacher and SENCO leader.
  • Assist with the delivery of high-quality learning experiences, including lesson planning and preparation.
  • Develop positive relationships with pupils, parents, staff, and other professionals to ensure a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Contribute to the development of a safe and respectful classroom environment, promoting the well-being and safety of all students.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training to enhance your skills and knowledge.
