Job Summary

We are recruiting a Speech and Language Therapist to support our clients in Lytham St Annes. The successful candidate will have experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and pragmatic language difficulties.

Job Description

This is a full-time temporary contract initially, with a view to extend on a long-term basis. The successful candidate will be expected to start as soon as possible (realistically January). The salary for this role is £35 - £40 per hour.

Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Conduct assessments to identify students' communication needs, particularly related to social communication and pragmatic language skills.
  2. Prepare reports for multi-disciplinary team meetings, Education, Health, and Care Plan reviews, or annual reviews.
  3. Adapt therapy to meet the sensory and behavioral needs of children with ASD.

Qualifications and Experience

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Occupational Therapy and be registered with the HCPC. Previous experience supporting children with ASD and pragmatic language difficulties is essential.
