Job Summary:

DS Smith is seeking a skilled Engineering Operations Excellence Director to lead the company's asset management programme and drive sustainability initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in asset management, technical leadership, and data analytics.

Responsibilities include developing and implementing asset management strategies, influencing technical and operational excellence leaders, and promoting cross-functional work and operational excellence.

The successful candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment and have excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • Develop and implement asset management strategies to deliver maximum value for DS Smith.
  • Influence technical and operational excellence leaders across the Paper and Packaging Divisions.
  • Act as a champion on Reliability Maintenance, leading the Group Wide Maintenance, Reliability & Asset Management program.
  • Establish and monitor the Group and local 'Value Driven Maintenance' roadmap.
  • Coordinate activity on Long Term Asset Planning of equipment across the Group.
