About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Accommodation Warden to join our team at Great Ormond Street Hospital. As a key member of our Accommodation Service, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe environment for our patients, families, and staff.

Responsibilities will include facilitating the coordination of accommodation-related services, working closely with in-house and contracted services to ensure a safe and suitable environment for patients, families, and staff. You will also be responsible for welcoming patients and families, providing guidance on accommodation policies and facilities, and preparing guest bedrooms and communal areas prior to check-in.

Main Duties
  • Coordinate accommodation-related services to ensure a safe and suitable environment for patients, families, and staff.
  • Work with in-house and contracted services to prepare guest bedrooms and communal areas prior to check-in.
  • Provide guidance on accommodation policies and facilities to patients and families.
  • Handle and store luggage, and perform administrative duties as required.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. You will also need to have basic computer skills and the ability to accurately record information.

We are looking for someone who is flexible, with the ability to use their own initiative and work as part of a small team. You will need to have a good understanding of health and safety issues and be able to demonstrate sensitivity and empathy in difficult situations.
