We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Contract Legal Advisor to join our team at Samsung Electronics. As a key member of our legal department, you will play a critical role in providing strategic legal advice on commercial contracts and key business initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:- Advising on and managing strategic and day-to-day antitrust issues arising in relation to commercial contracts and key business initiatives within EO, the UK business, and across European subsidiaries.
- Providing commercially focused legal advice on a broad spectrum of antitrust, consumer, and regulatory matters.
- Working closely with the European Public Affairs team to identify opportunities and risks for the business arising from recent or upcoming legal initiatives.
- Drafting and maintaining guidelines and training materials for EO and European subsidiaries, and delivering antitrust, consumer law, and other regulatory compliance training to various business divisions.
- Supporting and leading on the management of regulatory investigations and merger inquiries at EU and national levels.
- Qualifying law degree.
- Understanding of at least two out of antitrust, consumer/marketing, IP, and general regulatory law.
- At least 3 years' experience of working in these areas of law in a well-established legal practice, major corporate, and/or regulator.
- Experience working with regulatory investigations.
- Hybrid working arrangement with 3 days in the office and 2 days at home per week.
