Main Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and coordinating the day-to-day clinical operations of the linac, ensuring patients receive accurate and consistent planning and treatment.

They will also assist in the implementation of change within the radiotherapy service, providing expert advice on treatment procedures and side effects to patients and their carers.

Key Requirements
  • HCPC registration
  • BSc Radiotherapy
  • Master's degree in radiotherapy or equivalent knowledge
Desirable Skills
  • Experience in radiotherapy development work
  • Previous NHS experience in Radiotherapy
  • Relevant Band 6 Therapeutic Radiographer experience
  • Participation in the implementation of a change in practice/new equipment
  • Experience using Varian/Aria equipment
  • Experience of using Eclipse & Somavision planning systems
  • Participation in research
Working Arrangements

This is a permanent, full-time position with a salary of £46,148 to £52,809 per annum, plus 5% short-term RRP non-pensionable.

The successful candidate will be based at the Oxford Cancer Centre, Churchill Hospital.
