We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Therapeutic Radiographer to join our team at the Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a senior member of our radiography team, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our services.
Key Responsibilities- Work as a senior member of the team, covering all sections of the department, including mould room, CT scanning, virtual simulation, and contouring.
- Deliver a wide range of radiotherapy treatments, including simple and complex techniques, with a focus on delivering excellent patient care.
- Support the team leader in the day-to-day management of the pre-treatment or treatment work area, assisting in the organisation and management of the clinical workload.
- Liaise with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient care and treatment.
- Supervise, support, and teach junior members of staff and students to ensure the development of our team and the delivery of excellent patient care.
- Post-registration experience as a Therapeutic Radiographer with rotations through pre-treatment and treatment.
- BSc (Hons) in Radiotherapy.
- HCPC Therapeutic Radiographer registration.
- Core knowledge of radiotherapy equipment and techniques, as well as the principles underlying them.
- Ability to work well within a team environment, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Knowledge of current IR(ME) Regulations and responsibilities relating to own professional practice.
