Pertemps Education Network: Special Needs Teaching Assistant Opportunities

We are recruiting for temporary teaching assistants to work with special needs schools across the London Borough of Wandsworth. This may involve long-term contracts or daily supply work during term time only.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support students with autism, ADHD, SEMH, complex needs, personal care, and speech, language, and communication needs
  • Work with experienced teaching staff to develop and implement individualized education plans
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as personal care and meal preparation
  • Provide a safe and supportive learning environment
Requirements:
  • Previous experience working with special needs students (children or adults)
  • Ability to provide documentation during the vetting procedure, including Right to Work, proof of address, DBS on the update service, and satisfactory references
  • Completion of a safeguarding survey prior to working with children
What We Offer:
  • Daily rate of pay between £90-£100, depending on the school and candidate's experience
  • Opportunity to work with experienced teaching staff and make a positive impact on students' lives
