Maintenance Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at a Global FMCG Business. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and contribute to the growth of the company.
About the RoleThis is a permanent position working nights, with a 4 on 4 off shift pattern. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing various manufacturing equipment, including conveying and distribution systems.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out planned preventative maintenance and condition-based monitoring to ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently.
- Repair and maintain electrical and mechanical machinery, including fault finding and troubleshooting.
- Work with SCADA and PLC systems to monitor and control equipment.
- Collaborate with colleagues to implement Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and improve overall efficiency.
- Support maintenance tasks across UK sites as required.
- Train and assist machine operators to ensure continuous improvement.
- Monitor and analyze system, line, and product performance using engineering EAM systems.
The ideal candidate will have experience in a high-volume, fast-moving environment and hold formal electrical or mechanical qualifications. Knowledge of British Retail Consortium (BRC) standards and experience with conveyor belt systems, bucket fillers, and strapping machines is advantageous.
