Exciting Opportunity for Multi-Skilled Engineers

We are working with a leading Global FMCG Business to recruit skilled Maintenance Engineers for their new state-of-the-art facility. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing company and contribute to the success of their manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and Reactive Maintenance on various manufacturing equipment, including conveying and distribution systems.
  • Fault find electrical and mechanical machinery, and perform repairs as necessary.
  • Work with SCADA and PLC systems, and have knowledge of maintenance procedures.
  • Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure the smooth operation of manufacturing equipment and processes.
  • Support the training of colleagues in maintenance activities, and contribute to the development of a TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) program.
Requirements:
  • Formal Electrical or Mechanical qualifications, backed up with suitable training and experience.
  • Experience in maintaining standard industry machinery, including conveyor belt systems, bucket fillers, and strapping machines.
  • Knowledge of British Retail Consortium (BRC) standards for hygiene and cleanliness.
  • Ability to work on a 4 on 4 off rotating shift basis, with some flexibility on start and finish times.
