About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Training Coordinator to join our team in York. As a key member of our Learning and Development team, you will be responsible for scheduling, tracking, and reporting on skills training and compliance using our learning management system.

This role will involve developing and maintaining local training plans while working in collaboration with our Learning & Development Business Partner. You will be the primary point of contact for training-related matters and will be responsible for ensuring that all training activities are properly coordinated and executed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintaining Training Communication Plans: Develop and maintain training communication plans to ensure that all stakeholders are informed of upcoming training sessions.
  • Compliance Tracking: Ensure that all training information is accurately tracked and reported to meet regulatory requirements.
  • Training Scheduling: Coordinate scheduling, implementation, and logistical activities for training and administrative tasks.
  • Collaboration with Stakeholders: Work closely with Shift Managers and Team Leaders to determine training needs and delivery.
  • Matrix Maintenance: Maintain the matrix to ensure that the site is ready for audit.
  • Induction and Orientation: Conduct effective induction and orientation sessions for new employees.
  • Training Delivery: Host training sessions to ensure that employees have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their jobs effectively.
About You

We are looking for a candidate who possesses excellent communication, planning, and organizational skills. You should have a strong understanding of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and be able to maintain and establish strong partnerships with stakeholders and other colleagues.

The ideal candidate will have a can-do attitude, be customer-focused, and have strong decision-making skills. You should also be able to deliver objectives, make good and timely decisions, and have an active interest in seeking new ways to grow and be challenged.
