Job Description

Valeo Foods UK is a leading manufacturer of premium food products, with a portfolio of beloved brands that span indulgence, innovation, and tradition.

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Training Coordinator to join our team in York. As a key member of our Learning and Development team, you will be responsible for scheduling, tracking, and reporting on skills training and compliance using our learning management system.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining training communication plans and distributing training announcements to ensure seamless delivery of training programs.
  • Complying with training information for accurate tracking and reporting, ensuring that all training records are up-to-date and compliant with regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinating scheduling, implementation, and logistical activities for training and administrative tasks, ensuring that all training sessions are well-planned and executed.
  • Collaborating with Shift Managers and Team Leaders to determine training needs and delivery, ensuring that all employees receive the necessary training to perform their jobs effectively.
  • Maintaining the training matrix to ensure that the site is ready for audit, ensuring that all training records are accurate and compliant.
  • Conducting effective induction and orientation sessions for new employees, ensuring that they receive a comprehensive understanding of the company's policies and procedures.
  • Hosting training sessions, ensuring that all employees receive the necessary training to perform their jobs effectively.

About You:

  • You must have a can-do attitude, with a strong ability to maintain and establish partnerships with stakeholders and other colleagues.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) is essential, as well as strong communication, planning, and organizational skills.
  • You must be customer-focused, with a high degree of understanding of internal training participants and subject matter experts.
  • You must be collaborative, with strong skills to work effectively across all levels to meet shared objectives.
  • You must be able to deliver objectives, with the ability to focus on setting challenging goals and meeting or exceeding them.
  • You must have good decision quality, making good and timely decisions that keep the organization moving forward.
  • You must have a self-development mindset, with an active interest in seeking new ways to grow and be challenged using both formal and informal development channels.
