Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead our Thanet operation, overseeing a team of over 170 colleagues and delivering an exceptional service to our valued customers.
About the Role
As an Operations Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and punctuality of our services, working closely with the engineering and commercial departments to achieve this goal.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate your team to deliver a safe, efficient, and effective transport service
- Develop and maintain close relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including local councillors and other high-profile bodies
- Respond quickly to any problems that may arise, making a direct and positive impact on our customers and business
- Ensure the right people are in the right place at the right time, developing your team to achieve competency and great behaviors
Requirements
- Proven leadership capabilities in a changing environment
- Strong communication skills to build excellent relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Confident self-starter able to motivate others
- Excellent team player able to support your team and the wider South East management team
