Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Facilities Assistant to join our team at Compass Group UK&I. As a key member of our cleaning team, you will play a vital role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene within our hospitals.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean and maintain high and low surfaces, including wards, side rooms, toilets, showers, and public areas.
  • Empty and replace rubbish bins regularly.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety throughout the hospital.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve common goals.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, visitors, and healthcare staff.

What You'll Need:

  • No previous experience is necessary, but a willingness to learn and take pride in your work is essential.
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain a flexible approach.
  • Able to work individually and as part of a team.
  • Confident working in a hospital environment and aware of the needs of patients who may be unwell or distressed.
