Signalling Team Supervisor

As a Signalling Team Supervisor at Colas Rail UK, you will be responsible for coordinating and supervising work groups to ensure the successful installation and testing of level crossings. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as a thorough understanding of Network Rail standards and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise signalling teams to ensure compliance with best practices, Network and Company Standards, processes and procedures.
- Manage installation costs against budgets and maintain robust records.
- Organise and develop a first-class Signalling and Level Crossing Installation team.
- Allocate installation resources to projects to deliver required skills and maintain team utilization.
- Deliver activities within agreed timelines, according to quality and safety rules.
Requirements
- Hold or working towards Engineering Manager (Installation) IRSE License.
- Hold or be able to hold SMTH & G110 (Tester & Author Checker).
- Hold PTS, COSS/IWA track safety competencies.
- Experience in the installation and testing of level crossings, ideally including object detection systems.
- Proven experience of team leadership and influencing staff.
