Deputy Room Leader Role

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Deputy Room Leader to join our team at Kido Hounslow. As a Deputy Room Leader, you will play a vital role in supporting the Room Leader in creating a nurturing environment that fosters curiosity, exploration, and learning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Room Leader in planning, organizing, and executing engaging activities that align with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) standards and the Kido curriculum.
  • Take ownership of your room and lead your team to deliver exceptional experiences for children, ensuring their unique needs are met.
  • Assess and record children's progress and achievements, aligning with our systems of observation.
  • Communicate effectively with parents, children, and colleagues to deliver the best possible experience.

  • A competitive salary range of up to £27,000 for full-time, 40 hours per week.

Requirements
  • A relevant childcare qualification, level 2 minimum.
  • Alignment with our 3 core values – Listen, Learn, and Lead.
  • Experience as an Educator and/or Deputy Room Leader in a nursery setting.
  • The right to work in the UK.
