Deputy Room Leader Role

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Deputy Room Leader to join our team at Kido Chiswick. As a key member of our nursery team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional care and education to our children, while supporting the Room Leader in leading the team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Room Leader in planning, organizing, and executing engaging activities that align with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) standards and the Kido curriculum.
  • Take ownership of your room, working closely with the Room Leader to ensure the unique needs of each child are met.
  • Lead by example, showcasing the Kido values and standards in your daily practice.
  • Support the Room Leader in assessing and recording children's progress and achievements.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create a nurturing environment that caters to individual needs, acknowledging diversity and promoting inclusivity.

  • A competitive salary range of up to £27,000 for full-time, 40 hours per week.

Requirements
  • A relevant childcare qualification, level 2 minimum.
  • Alignment with Kido's 3 core values: Listen, Learn, and Lead.
  • Experience as an Educator and/or Deputy Room Leader in a nursery setting.
  • The right to work in the UK.
