Housing Support Specialist

At Change Grow Live, we're looking for dedicated individuals to join our Housing Recovery Support team. Housing Recovery Support Volunteer is a vital role that requires empathy and understanding to support people struggling with addiction.
About the Role
We are seeking enthusiastic and compassionate volunteers to work as part of our Housing team in Burnley. As a Housing Recovery Support Volunteer, you will play a crucial part in supporting individuals affected by drug and/or alcohol issues, focusing on housing-related challenges.
Your Responsibilities
This diverse role involves working closely with clients to develop personalized plans, addressing their specific needs and goals. You will be an integral part of a supportive team, providing guidance and encouragement to help individuals achieve stability and independence.
Training and Development
As a Housing Recovery Support Volunteer, you can expect to receive comprehensive training, including induction, boundaries, drug awareness, alcohol awareness, safeguarding, and trauma-informed care. These opportunities will equip you with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in this role.
Interview Process
The interview process will involve face-to-face meetings at Burnley Inspire. This is a chance to showcase your passion and dedication to making a positive impact in the lives of others.
