We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Service Manager to lead our dedicated team in delivering exceptional care services. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring our services run smoothly and our clients receive the highest standard of care.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate a team to deliver person-centered care, focusing on individual needs and preferences.
- Manage staff inductions, training, and development to ensure top-notch service delivery.
- Investigate complaints, safeguarding issues, and manage incidents and accident reports, ensuring compliance with all legal and statutory requirements.
- Conduct spot checks, supervisions, and annual appraisals to maintain quality and compliance.
- Develop and review support plans and risk assessments to meet individual needs.
- Manage referrals from initial assessment to contract start date, ensuring a seamless process.
- Collaborate with the Office Manager for accurate rota planning, covering gaps and absences.
- Participate in an on-call rota, ensuring 24/7 support for our services.
Requirements
- Strong background in Health and Social Care, particularly in working with people with learning disabilities and complex needs.
- Previous experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of delivering person-centered care.
- Excellent leadership and motivational skills, with the ability to inspire and develop a team.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on quality and compliance.
- High standard of verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, staff, and stakeholders.
- Knowledge of GDPR, Equality and Diversity, and The Mental Capacity Act, with a commitment to upholding these principles.
- Willingness to work towards a formal QCF qualification, demonstrating a commitment to ongoing learning and development.
