About Our Client
Our client is a respected charity dedicated to improving lives across the UK.
Job Description
- Oversee the company's accounting operations and financial systems
- Prepare and analyse financial reports to inform strategic decisions
- Develop and implement financial strategies to drive business growth
- Provide expert financial advice to senior management
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards
- Manage budgeting and forecasting activities to optimise financial performance
- Streamline financial processes for efficiency and effectiveness
- Lead the finance team and foster a positive working environment
The Successful Applicant
A successful Interim Financial Controller should have:
- A degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
- Professional accounting qualification (e.g. ACA) or qualified by experience
- Extensive experience in a similar role within a non-profit organisation
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations in a SME
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Able to commute to Reading on a hybrid basis
