Senior Care Lead

Excelcare Holdings is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Senior Care Assistant to join our team at Primrose Croft Care Home in Cambridge. As a Senior Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents, working closely with our compassionate and welcoming team.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a team of Care Assistants to deliver outstanding care and support to residents.
- Develop and implement person-centred care plans and risk assessments to ensure the highest standards of care.
- Engage in meaningful activities with residents, promoting independence, choice, dignity, and respect.
- Work closely with the Home Manager and ancillary teams to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Two years' experience as a Care Assistant or Senior Care Assistant with an NVQ 2/3 qualification in Health and Social Care, or three years' experience without an NVQ.
- Experience in a nursing or care home, or as a home care worker.
- Understanding of regulatory frameworks – Care Quality Commission (CQC).
- Knowledge and practice of working with people suffering with dementia is desirable.
