About the Role:

As a Senior Care Assistant at Athena Care Homes, you will be responsible for leading and managing our care team to deliver exceptional care to our residents. You will play a key part in ensuring the highest standards of care are achieved in all areas of the home.

Alex Wood House is an exceptional residential care home in Cambridge, providing outstanding care to each of our residents. We pride ourselves on our family-feel, attractive gardens, and commitment to delivering making moments for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the care team to deliver exceptional care to our residents.
  • Assist, motivate, and inspire passion into our care team to deliver exceptional outcomes in care.
  • Manage supervision, appraisal, and performance management of our care team.
  • Carry out enhanced clinical care duties, including clinical observations and monitoring urine output.

Requirements:

  • A passion for care and a proven track record of leading and managing a care team.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Experience in a care position and a commitment to delivering exceptional care.
