About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Senior Care Assistant to join our team at Alex Wood House Care Home in Cambridge. As a Senior Care Assistant, you will play a key part in delivering high-quality care to our residents and supporting our care team to achieve exceptional outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the care team, providing guidance and direction to ensure the highest standards of care are achieved.
  • Assist, motivate, and inspire passion in the care team to deliver exceptional care outcomes.
  • Manage supervision, appraisal, and performance management of the care team, celebrating individual strengths and helping team members achieve their potential.
  • Carry out enhanced clinical care duties, including clinical observations and monitoring of resident health.
Requirements
  • A passion for care and a commitment to delivering high-quality care.
  • Experience in a care position, with a proven track record of leading, empowering, supporting, and motivating a team.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with the care team.
