Public Programmes Lead

Theartgorgeous is seeking a skilled Public Programmes Lead to join our team. This role involves developing and delivering a diverse range of public programmes that engage adult audiences.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a talented team of artists, curators, and producers to create innovative and engaging experiences for adult audiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To develop and deliver a diverse range of public programmes that engage adult audiences.
  • To work closely with artists, communities, and other stakeholders to co-create innovative and engaging experiences.
  • To manage and coordinate logistics, including venue hire, catering, and technical requirements.
  • To maintain accurate records and reports, including attendance figures, participant feedback, and budget tracking.

Requirements:

  • Degree in a relevant field, such as arts management, community engagement, or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience in programme development and delivery, ideally in a public-facing context.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with artists, communities, and stakeholders.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to workload and deadlines.

Salary and Benefits:

The salary for this role is £38,000-£42,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including 25 days annual leave, pension scheme, and professional development opportunities.
