Cloud Software Business Development Manager

As a Cloud Software Business Development Manager at Amazon, you will be responsible for building and executing programs to increase AWS Marketplace adoption at AWS customers across Israel. You will work closely with AWS teams to set strategy and determine which products to pursue to maximize value for Buyers & Sellers.

On a daily basis, you will:

  1. Engage with Technology Partners and Channel Partners to build and execute development plans.
  2. Help customers transition from on-premise environments to the cloud, engaging directly with Procurement Managers to drive adoption of AWS Marketplace.

You should be self-motivated, customer-centric, and delivery-focused with a demonstrated ability to think strategically and long-term about customer needs.

AWS Marketplace is an online store where customers can find, buy, and start using software in a utility model that runs on the AWS Cloud. Our goal is to bring Amazon's e-commerce expertise to cloud software and change how software is discovered and consumed in the cloud.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop a short-term and long-term strategic AWS Marketplace plan.
  2. Work with AWS business development and field organizations to engage with customers and partners to execute joint go-to-market programs.
  3. Serve as a key member of the Israel Region and EMEA Marketplace teams to define and deliver the strategy for SI Consulting and ISV technology partners.
  4. Understand customer and partner technical requirements and work closely with the internal development team to guide product offerings.
  5. Educate and enable sales teams and increase visibility of AWS Marketplace products across all relevant AWS teams.
  6. Manage complex contract negotiations and serve as a partner liaison to the legal group.About the Team

    To support customer adoption of AWS Marketplace across EMEA, we are a team of specialist business development managers engaging with Technology Partners, Channel Partners, and Customers to educate and enable the acquisition of SaaS via a digital marketplace.

    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
    • 3+ years of business development, partnership management, or sourcing new business experience.
    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
    • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements.
    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
    • Experience in online advertising or high-tech products/services.
    • 3+ years of business agreements development, negotiation, and execution experience.
    • Experience working cross-functionally with tech and non-tech teams.
