We are looking for a highly skilled Civil Engineering Site Lead to join our team in Bangor, Gwynedd. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the construction process and ensuring that projects are completed safely and efficiently.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering, with experience in site management and supervision. You will also possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join a global business in CRH and a Business Unit of Tarmac PLC. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the works of skilled operatives on site and ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Main Responsibilities

  • Oversee the construction process and ensure safe working practices
  • Manage the works of skilled operatives on site
  • Monitor and control project costs
  • Lead and manage a team of construction professionals
  • Collaborate with operations manager to achieve business objectives

Requirements

  • 5+ years' experience in civil engineering and site management
  • Proven track record of delivering successful projects
  • Strong leadership and teamwork skills
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Degree in a relevant field (e.g., civil engineering)
