We are seeking an Experienced SEN Teaching Professional to join our team at a Portsmouth-based school. As an SEN Teaching Professional, you will play a crucial role in supporting students with Special Educational Needs, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.

You will work closely with experienced teaching staff to provide individualized support, adapting materials and activities to meet the unique needs of each student. Your compassion, patience, and adaptability will make a significant difference in the lives of these students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver targeted support to students with additional needs, promoting their independence and self-esteem.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to develop and implement personalized learning plans.
  • Contribute to creating a supportive and inclusive school culture, celebrating diversity and individuality.
  • Maintain effective communication with students, parents, and colleagues, ensuring seamless teamwork.

Essential Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proven experience working with children with Special Educational Needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Adaptability and flexibility in response to changing student needs and school requirements.
  • A patient and compassionate approach to supporting students with diverse needs.

The salary for this position is estimated at £23,500 per annum, based on experience.
