About the Role:We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team at one of our care homes. As Head Chef, you will be responsible for managing the culinary operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and inventory management.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage a team of chefs and kitchen staff to deliver high-quality meals to residents
- Plan and implement menus that cater to different dietary needs and preferences
- Source fresh ingredients and manage inventory levels
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and HACCP standards
- City & Guilds/NVQ/SVQ or equivalent qualification in culinary arts
- Minimum 5 years' experience as a Head Chef or Senior Chef in a care home or hospital setting
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
