We are seeking a highly skilled Cost Management professional to join our team at Turner & Townsend. As a Cost Manager, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality cost management services across the full project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in feasibility studies and write procurement reports
  • Estimate and cost plan, including producing and presenting the final cost plan, utilizing relevant cost management tools and services
  • Tender and procure, including managing the pre-qualification stage, producing the tender list, producing the preliminaries, tender analysis, producing the tender report, and compiling the contractual documents
  • Conduct contract administration, including dealing effectively with post-contract cost variances and change control processes
  • Take personal responsibility for making cost checks and carrying out valuations on larger projects
  • Produce monthly post-contract cost reports and present them to the client
  • Contribute to value engineering
  • Negotiate and agree final accounts
  • Interface with clients, project managers, and other consultants at all project stages
  • Collaborate with Turner and Townsend's project management team during project delivery
  • Lead a cost management team, ensuring they deliver on all accountabilities
Requirements
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality cost management services
  • Degree or HNC level qualification
  • Professionally qualified (RICS or similar)
