Cost Management Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Cost Management Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our cost management team, you will be responsible for delivering end-to-end cost management services to our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Manage commissions of varying sizes, ensuring timely and accurate cost checking and valuation.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, project managers, and other consultants.
- Collaborate with our project management team to deliver projects efficiently and effectively.
- Lead a cost management team, ensuring they deliver high-quality services and meet client objectives.
- Implement our Embodied Carbon Calculator to produce carbon footprint reports.
- Support the execution of our NewLeaf strategy.
- Manage internal fees, job costing, and resourcing requirements.
- Identify opportunities to develop new business with existing clients and report to the appropriate line manager.
- Develop and maintain a professional network of peers and potential clients.
- Assist in the production of bid documentation.
- Identify ways to improve cost management procedures, templates, and products.
- Knowledge management: Ensure key information and learning are input into our internal database.
- Process improvement: Identify ways to improve internal systems and processes.
- Support, develop, and mentor junior staff members.
We are looking for a self-motivated individual with a proven track record of delivering high-quality cost management services. You should have a confident and professional manner, be highly organized, and able to prioritize your workload effectively. A degree or HNC level qualification and professionally qualified (RICS or similar) are essential.
