The Role
We're seeking a Nightshift Vehicle Mechanic to join our team. As a Mechanic, you'll be responsible for diagnosing and carrying out vehicle repairs, servicing, and parts replacement. You'll work with our fleet of vehicles, ensuring they're in top condition for our passengers.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and carry out vehicle repairs, servicing, and parts replacement
- Diagnose vehicle faults and specify the correct method of repair and parts to be used
- Carry out vehicle servicing and routine vehicle examinations using handheld data capture devices if applicable
- Attend on-road vehicle breakdowns and recoveries
- Carry out vehicle road testing where necessary to identify specific vehicle defects or following remedial repair

About You
- Do you have at minimum a Level 3 NVQ standard of equivalent qualification?
- Do you have a flexible approach to working hours?
- A PCV licence is desirable, ability to obtain PCV licence is essential (we will help you obtain this)
- Do you have a valid UK driver's licence?
- Experience of working with buses & coaches would be an advantage
- Do you have vehicle/auto electrical experience/knowledge?
