About the Role
As a key member of our energetic team of Engineers and maintenance staff, you'll be responsible for repairing our fleet of vehicles. Your duties will include:
- Diagnosing and carrying out vehicle repairs, servicing, and parts replacement
- Diagnosing vehicle faults and specifying the correct method of repair and parts to be used
- Carrying out vehicle servicing and routine vehicle examinations using handheld data capture devices
- Attending on-road vehicle breakdowns and recoveries
- Carrying out vehicle road testing to identify specific vehicle defects or following remedial repair
Working Shift Pattern
We operate an alternating shift pattern, with 4 days in 3, including one weekend in three. Your working hours will be 21:00 - 07:00.
About You
- You'll need a minimum Level 3 NVQ standard or equivalent qualification
- You'll have a flexible approach to working hours
- A PCV licence is desirable, but the ability to obtain one is essential (we'll help you with this)
- You'll have a valid UK driver's licence
- Experience working with buses and coaches is an advantage
- You'll have vehicle/auto electrical experience/knowledge
