**Job Title:** Inventory Management Specialist

Location and Salary:

Located in Wakefield, we are offering a salary of £55,000.00 + car allowance and benefits.

About the Role:

As an experienced Inventory Manager, you will lead our stock control team and optimize stock control performance, ensuring compliance and delivering profitability targets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and oversee stock control operations
  • Develop and implement stock control systems, optimizing processes and resources
  • Lead, recruit and train the stock control team
  • Monitor budgets and expenses
  • Ensure compliance
  • Prepare and present performance reports
Requirements:
  1. Previous experience managing a team of stock controllers and customer support staff
  2. A background in warehousing with good WMS and automation knowledge
  3. Able to manage growth and embrace change
  4. Able to onboard new customers and maintain customer service standards
  5. Experienced with handling high inventory levels for both palletised stock and value added services
  6. Knowledge of Cold storage facilities would be preferred
