Stock Controller Opportunity

Elevation Recruitment Group is working with a reputable manufacturer based in Sheffield to find a skilled Stock Controller. This newly created role has arisen due to company growth and will see the successful candidate working under the guidance of the Planning Manager.

The ideal candidate will have experience in inventory management, stock control, and material logistics. They will be responsible for monitoring material levels, conducting regular stock takes, and identifying potential issues that may affect production.

Salary and Benefits:

  • Estimated salary: £40,000 - £50,000 per annum

Job Responsibilities:

  • Ensure accurate monitoring of material levels, stock inventory, and WIP value and levels
  • Manage the stock taking process, reporting and resolving any discrepancies
  • Collaborate with the Operations Planning Manager to meet material needs of the Production department
  • Fully understand material delivery dates and supply chain constraints against the production plan
  • Raise purchase orders and liaise with suppliers, identifying potential delivery issues affecting the production plan
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve overall performance
