SEN Education Professional for KS1 Children

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated SEN teacher assistant to join our team in a primary school located in Northfield/Longbridge, Birmingham. As a member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting the teacher in providing an outstanding education to individual children with special educational needs (SEN) and behavior issues.
Main Responsibilities:- Support the teacher in developing and implementing personalized learning plans for students with SEN.
- Work closely with the teaching staff to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
- Assist in lesson planning, delivery, and assessment, ensuring alignment with national curriculum standards.
- Design and implement specialized interventions to support children with autism and other SEN.
- Collaborate with parents, carers, and other professionals to ensure the best outcomes for each child.
- Experience working with children with special educational needs, particularly autism.
- Ability to use various specialist strategies and resources to support children with SEN.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with parents, carers, and other professionals.
- Capacity to work effectively as part of a team and demonstrate a positive, flexible, and proactive attitude.
The estimated annual salary for this role is £26,000 - £31,000, depending on experience.
