About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Autism Support Worker to join our team at an outstanding school in the London Borough. The successful candidate will work with children with special needs, providing support and guidance to help them reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized support to students with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and other special needs
  • Develop and implement personalized learning plans to meet the needs of students
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment
  • Assist students with daily living skills, such as personal care and mobility
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff to ensure a smooth and successful experience

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children with special needs, particularly Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic knowledge of special education laws and regulations
