The successful candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to a sustainable future through innovative chemistry and work on strategic projects that impact supply security, product development, and cost optimization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, plan, and execute experimental programs and associated analytical testing with guidance from a supervisor.
  • Operate a Pilot Plant unit and support process improvements and process safety activities.
  • Evaluate new raw materials and component suppliers.
  • Provide analysis and insight for lab or plant troubleshooting, process optimization, and New Product Development projects.
  • Make technical recommendations based on the interpretation of experimental results/data.
  • Document experimental results and learnings through knowledge management systems.

Requirements:
  • A degree in chemistry or a related scientific discipline (e.g. chemical engineering).
  • Strong technical competencies with an aptitude for practical laboratory and/or pilot plant work and organic synthesis.
  • Ideal candidates will have 1-2 years of industry experience, although fresh graduates with relevant placement experience may also be considered.
  • Experience in analytical chemistry techniques would be an advantage.
  • Diligence in managing test results, technical information, and lab records.
  • Ability to interpret data and make recommendations.
