Key Responsibilities:
- Design, plan, and execute experimental programs and associated analytical testing with guidance from a supervisor.
- Operate a Pilot Plant unit and support process improvements and process safety activities.
- Evaluate new raw materials and component suppliers.
- Provide analysis and insight for lab or plant troubleshooting, process optimization, and New Product Development projects.
- Make technical recommendations based on the interpretation of experimental results/data.
- Document experimental results and learnings through knowledge management systems.
Requirements:
- A degree in chemistry or a related scientific discipline (e.g. chemical engineering).
- Strong technical competencies with an aptitude for practical laboratory and/or pilot plant work and organic synthesis.
- Ideal candidates will have 1-2 years of industry experience, although fresh graduates with relevant placement experience may also be considered.
- Experience in analytical chemistry techniques would be an advantage.
- Diligence in managing test results, technical information, and lab records.
- Ability to interpret data and make recommendations.
